Pictures speak louder than words
The school wanted their website to be full of pictures that would give a visual representation of the school infrastructure and ideology.
The home page has a simple slider with captions to convery the school's core principles.
The school wanted to update their visitors with latest news. They wanted the news to be accessible from all pages so a small bell button was displayed on all pages that would show the latest news when clicked on.
Gallery with Modal Window.
We had a lot of pictures placed through out the site since it was the primary requirement.
Clicking on any picture in a section would open a Modal Window in which the user can browse through all the pictures in that section.
Site owner has full control over content
Wordpress was added as a content management system for the school staff to be able to make changes to the website.
We trained the school IT department in using wordpress so they could update information like news, events, latest news on the website without much hassle.
Bulk email service
We also setup a bulk email sending service using sendgrid so that teachers could send daily emails to 1000s of parents to keep them connected with happenings at school.
The magic factor
We added suble effects that give a good feel while using the site.
For example, on the left we see hover animation on images that are links to pages.
